Autumn Home Nesting and Design Tips

Tracy Morris Design

Tracy Morris Design

Hints of the transition to fall are beginning to show all around us. Most migratory birds are already heading south for the season. Acorns are falling and squirrels hustle them away to store for the colder months. Outside the kitchen window the silver maple's leaves  are revealing strong traces of golden yellow. It is probably a good time for us to accept the inevitable changes and do some preparation as well.

The challenges may be a bit different this season, some forced on us by an unwelcome virus, which has upset our usual living patterns and upset our routines. But much of the world is still the same and some of the techniques for creating a safe and comforting nest are familiar.

Tip #1 Cleanup and organize. Be daring!

Contractor: Brian Langford

Contractor: Brian Langford

You are probably going to be spending more time indoors and at home. Take a look around and assess what you have in furnishings and clothes. Get rid of things that you no longer have a need for. Donate or recycle old clothing and useless furniture. Make every spot work for you and your family. Consider hiring a design professional to help you with your space layout. Many can assist you without even having to come to your home. Zoom, FaceTime, and other video call platforms are great tools for virtual design meetings. Lots of showrooms can now be visited that way as well. You can certainly order furniture online - even through quality designer showrooms!

Tip #2  Fall Design Opportunities

Now that you have cleaned things up and gotten motivated, take a look around your space and consider the opportunities you have for improvement. Paint is the biggest and simplest game changer of all. Pick a room you hate. Maybe that living room you have begun to loathe spending so much time in would feel more inviting if you gave it a warm comforting tone, to replace that faded off- white you picked ten years ago.

You can also upgrade to a new couch, or if that’s too much for you, get a new slip cover and an area rug to unroll beneath it. You can find many local stores and on-line sources that will help you with this remote shopping and provide you with an almost instant and uplifting change to your living space.

Tip #3 A fireplace is the best  focal point for your room and a HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplace creates that calming safe haven quickly.

With everyone moving indoors more it’s great to have a personal comfort zone or family gathering point to anchor us. Since ancient times the household hearth has accomplished that mission. With a HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplace you can quickly change and improve the focus of a room or a home. And because you need no flue or chimney, or connections of any kind with a HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplace you can accomplish all of that easily - without the hassle of construction.

Paired either with your existing mantle or a new one from one of our options, you will have a great place to make new warm memories, spend time with family or friends, or just have a calm moment to yourself. A fireplace can work as well as a yoga session, or meditation, to soothe the jangled nerves of our modern lives. Of course, pairing the enchanting visual experience of a real flickering flame with an excellent glass of red wine helps too.

5 Essential Tips To Design Your Bespoke At-home Office.

tips-design-espoke-at-home-office.jpg

Has taking a few steps from your bedroom to your home “office” become your new work normal in these strange times? Although it may be enticing to get work done tucked in bed or sitting at the kitchen counter in front of a half eaten bowl of oatmeal…resist!  You deserve a better solution.  Take the time to create an at-home workspace that provides a positive and supportive atmosphere to help you be productive, alert and less stressed.

Keep It Bright and Light.

Light makes a space. It’s often overlooked in our thinking, but it’s so important.  If you can find a spot with natural light, grab it.   Natural light helps keep you alert and engaged.  And a window with a view, whether it’s a landscape or a cityscape, helps by giving you a more distant view to allow your eyes to refocus and minimize eye strain.  Plus it will remind you that there is a world out there to which you still belong, that may help you in feeling less isolated.

If you can’t set up next to a window then get yourself some really good artificial lighting.  Perhaps you need a new overhead lamp, a chandelier, a sconce or a task light.  There are lots of on-line resources and local stores that will deliver. Many solutions are as simple as unboxing a lamp you bought and plugging it in!  Or even simpler, you may just need to change the bulbs in the fixtures you have.  Light bulbs grow more dull over time.  Plus the past few years have seen a revolution in the type of light you can get from new bulbs.  Consider LED with warmer color temperatures. Stay in the 2500 to 3500k which is generally easier on the eyes than the cooler 4000 to 5000k which are right for labs and hospitals. The bulbs, (technically a lighting engineer would call them lamps) may cost more but they last a lot longer and they use less energy than old style.  So you will be helping the environment as well.

You want to get a good balance between task lighting, that’s the name or the lamp that shines on your work, and the surrounding area.  Too sharp a drop-off in lighting level will decrease your comfort level and slow your productivity.  And if the walls around you get no light it tends to create a dismal atmosphere.  Who needs anything that’s gloomier right now? Good light, good mood.

Keep your home workspace, desk and mind clear.  And sit like royalty.

Keep your space sleek and unique.  Go for uncluttered and well organized.   It will help support clearer thinking if you are less distracted by clutter and mess.  Being able to find things you need helps you get work done faster. Get a good desk top organizer.  You will have pens, paper clips, tape, even when you are working digitally.  And most important at your desk is a good chair.  An Aeron is a chair known for its beauty and ergonomics, though it’s expensive.  Maybe you can find a used one on Ebay. But these days there are a lot of ergonomic chairs to choose from. Get one. Your back, your legs, your neck,  your arms, all will thank you.

Finding your comfort zone

Sure work is demanding.  But it can be pleasurable as well.  A sense of satisfaction from a task you did well?  Maybe that’s the point where you deserve a break, or a change of setting for that next call.  That might be when you would normally head to the conference room or the lounge at work.  At home that means a slight shift in attitude.  Turn that comfortable armchair you have into a fabulous conference chair. Try getting an alpaca throw to wrap around yourself as you settle in to close the deal.  You don’t have to suffer through a tough negotiation because you have the luxury of making yourself comfortable in your home.  This is the time to take advantage of that freedom.  If you have a HearthCabinet Ventless Fireplace®, and we hope you do, light it and enjoy the beautiful smoke-free flames and listen to them crackle.  Dancing flames from a fireplace have a way of restoring calm as you gaze at them.  And if it’s a zoom call you’re on, make everybody else a little jealous, tilt the camera towards the HearthCabinet®.

Distraction-free zone

It can be hard to stay focused while working from home.

Create a dedicated work space for yourself, so that as soon as you set foot in that space, your work mode turns on.  And let other people know where and what your boundaries are. Define your office hours.  Post them on a bulletin board or on the door if you have one.  Set that schedule and stick to it.  Make breaks, away from the office area, a part of your schedule.  Your iPhone or smartphone timer can help prod you about your schedule. But wouldn’t a nicely designed analog clock on the desk or wall be a pleasanter choice?  Place it just at the edge of your vision, as it will help you keep track of the passage of time without barking at you.

Noise of course can be a major distraction. Let your family, friends, roommates, etc. know your work space requires library-like behavior.  And after that fails, especially if there are kids around, there are other steps to take.  You can add some sound absorbing material around the room, like a plush area rug, or cork bulletin board panels or some extra pillows.

And if it gets really distracting, some noise cancelling headphones, they may be what you need when your housemates are cooking but to you it's just banging pots down the hall.  Smart speakers are of course another option.  However, DO NOT listen to the news during work!!! That is the worst distraction of all… and all that news will still be there at the end of the day, won’t it?

PS. Get a clipboard in a bright color.  Make a to-do list and check off completed tasks, with a new favorite pen, so you can feel a sense of accomplishment by the end of your work day.

YES, IT IS ALL ABOUT YOU… SO CREATE A SPACE THAT’S YOURS!

Above all else, remember to personalize your at-home office. You will be spending a bunch of time there.  Let your inner interior designer shine and create a bespoke space that fits you.  If you love bright colors, bring ‘em on.  Painting one wall with latex paint in accent color is just an afternoon’s chore. Or try some easy to hang peel and stick removable wallpaper.  You can pick sedate neutrals or passionate patterns. Pillows on that chair or nearby couch are a simple way to add interest.

It’s likely you are going to spend a lot of time at your computer, so go ahead and update your screensaver, don’t accept what Microsoft or Apple chose for you.  How about using that spot you want to vacation to when things get back to normal?  Or an image of family and friends you are separated from.  And put some artwork that you really love on your walls. It’s easy to buy prints on-line.  Or help a struggling artist and buy an original painting.  Lots of galleries and artists have their work on websites and are eager to make a sale and happy to get their work out there.

Remember, you truly deserve a space that not only helps you maintain your productivity and unleashes your creative energies but also comforts you and reflects who you are.

Take care of yourself. Work well, work safe, work happy.

Top 10 Ventless Fireplace Designs

Designed By: Campion Platt

Designed By: Campion Platt

To realize your vision for the perfect fireplace in your living, office, or outdoor space you simply cannot rely on the old standard of one size fits all.  When it comes to finding the right design for your ventless fireplace there are many factors to consider including safety, placement, interior finishing, and decorative elements.  By having a ventless fireplace that utilizes alcohol-fuel cartridges you do not spare any safety while also keeping a level of customization that is second to none and helps you create a one of a kind design for your ideal smokeless fireplace.  Below we’ve put together a list of some the top ventless fireplace designs for you to consider when creating your ideal interior.

Three-Sided

Bring a modern touch to an adjoining wall between two rooms by considering a 3-sided ventless fireplace. By having the fireplace lay flush with the rest of the wall you create a stunning visual openness as your guests can peek from one side of the fireplace into the adjacent room through the warmth of the flames. Match the finish of your 3-sided ventless fireplace to the stone or tiling of the wall to produce a modern and contemporary look.

Four-Sided

A 4-sided ventless fireplace features 3 glass panels and 1 honeycomb mesh screen door and can be customized with a marble top. This is a free-standing ventless fireplace model and is perfect for placing outdoors for special occasions or an indoor table. By having a 4-sided model you allow yourself the convenience of a fireplace without the commitment of finding the one perfect spot for it inside your interior.

River Stones and DriftWood

With an alcohol-gel fueled cartridge system you may decide that a plain metal fireplace element is just not for you. Add a more personalized touch with the decorative elements of your ventless fireplace system. By adding driftwood you give your flames a more traditional look while never settling for less on the safety. River stones are another option that gives your fireplace a more natural look and can help create a serene and calming visual interior element to your space.

Brass Finish

When the rest of your interior is bright and airy consider having brass as the finish for your custom ventless fireplace. Brass can bring together a visual opulence to the room especially when it matches other decorative elements.  Draw more attention to your luxury ventless fireplace by placing it on the accent wall of your space.

Brick Interior

Brick is perfect for the interior finish of your custom smokeless fireplace and helps give it the rustic feeling of traditional masonry. A red brick interior coupled with driftwood can also give you the classic appeal of older wood fire hearths while keeping all of the safety of an alcohol-gel fuel cartridge fireplace system. Glossy or matte-black bricks can take this timeless design and push it towards more contemporary design.

Herringbone Interior

When choosing tile for the interior finish of your ventless fireplace you may also consider it being placed in a herringbone pattern to create a more interesting visual appeal rather than the more traditional linear brick style. A glossy or matte black tile in a herringbone pattern shows a subtle attention to the finer details while adding a sense of extravagance to your custom design.

Black Powder Coated Steel Finish

Having your fireplace draw all of the attention in the room may not be your ideal design. In that case, you should consider having the finishing of your custom fireplace produced with a black powder-coated steel finish. This design can be placed just about anywhere and allows the rest of your interior to stand out while still maintaining the extravagance of having a modern fireplace accent your space.

Linear Fireplace

Consider installing a linear fireplace and customize the size to your liking to compliment the beauty of your contemporary decor. This modern aesthetic design can also be customized with two glass sides in order to provide a more open visual layout between two rooms and creates a unique experience in your interior.

Custom Geometric Shape

If your tastes lean even further towards the contemporary, consider asking your custom ventless fireplace provider to customize the shape of your fireplace design into something more geometric. This can help draw even more attention directly to the opulence of your fireplace while maintaining the visual aesthetic of the rest of your interior.

Curved Interior

Curving the interior finish of your luxury ventless fireplace allows you to remain unconstrained to traditional fireplace design and help you create a stunning visual look. Curved interiors can also be perfect for use in custom smokeless fireplaces in the hospitality industry. Create an island of warmth to give guests a break from the hustle and bustle by placing your ventless fireplace in more upscale bars or restaurants.

Hung By The Mantel With Care

The warm comforting glow of a fireplace naturally draws the eye to the mantel above it. Stun your guests with a lovely garland strung above the mantel alongside candles to match the decor and color scheme of your other holiday items. Sconces on both sides of the mantel can help create a more refined look while allowing you to create an elegant ambiance.  Captivate your guests with some shimmer by having silver decorations sprinkled in and adding a graceful touch to your mantel as they capture the light of your ventless fireplace.

With the added safety of Safety Alcohol Gel Cartridges, provided adequate space and use the right materials, you do not need to worry about overheating the delicate electronics of your flat screen. The controlled temperature and burn-time of our ventless fireplace allows you to place your television 12 inches above the heat source without any stress.

Liven Up Your Sitting Area

Your guests are sure to be bedazzled by the beauty of a  modern customized fireplace and will naturally be drawn to the flame, so design a sitting area beside your ventless fireplace to accommodate guests that want to sit beside  it. Create a welcoming air of comfort with some fresh greenery and natural indoor décor.  Aside from traditional holiday decorations, fun shapes and items like fake feathered cardinals and reindeer strewn between fragrant garlands and wreaths can help bring an added charm and whimsy to your interior. The heavenly scents of pine, allspice, and clove can create a relaxing ambiance just from the gentle aroma wafting through the room coupled together with the soft crackling of a smokeless fireplace. Have your friends and family ready to cozy up by placing a soft warm throw blanket on your couch that matches your holiday decor and creates the perfect picturesque moment.

So put on your best holiday sweater, place that pie in the oven, and get ready to greet your guests with goodwill, good company, and good times as you welcome friends and family into your own personal holiday getaway. When you’re expecting company for the holidays and want an exquisite touch added to your apartment, invest in the beauty, safety, and comfort of a HearthCabinet Luxury Ventless Fireplace.

Gas, Electric, and Alcohol Fireplaces – Which One is Right for You?

Designer: Ken Siegel Architects

Designer: Ken Siegel Architects

The comfort of a flame is, in our opinion, essential to quality of life and a comfortable ambient experience in your home. The means by which fire has been delivered within a home has evolved greatly over the past century. The first advancement in fireplace and hearth technology was the gas fireplace which was consequently succeeded by the electric fireplace. What exactly does the future hold in store for the next great hearth technology and how does it compare to its predecessors? Read on to find out the key dynamic differences between gas furnaces, electric fireplaces, and cutting-edge alcohol gel hearths.

Gas fireplaces were first invented around 1895 and relied on a heated cast-iron carcass to give off radiant heat. This invention was the first real alternative to wood burning stoves which are notoriously messy and possibly dangerous. Gas fires could be lit quicker but came at a high price point. These early models of gas fireplaces were incapable of generating flames unlike newer models which rely on a pilot light and a gas line to ignite. Some of the downsides are the difficulty of installation of a gas line and the possible dangers that natural gas entails. Were a gas leak to occur or a heating implement to fail the consequences could be catastrophic. Additionally, a gas fireplace can be expensive to run and install even if they don’t require a chimney or flue.

Electric fireplaces, although invented in 1995, didn’t come into popularity until 2008. Electric fireplaces heat the air by circulating cold air through a heating coil within the device. It should be noted that electric fireplaces only display a visual representation of a flame as they can’t achieve ignition. In our opinion, this mitigates the stress relieving nature and beautiful experience of a true fireplace. The low price point is the most appealing point of electric fireplaces, but without the option to setup the interior decoration to fit your sense of design they leave a lot to be desired visually. The high wattage and huge power draw of an electric fireplace is a large downside especially when you consider the electrical cost and inefficiency when running one. The high wattage also introduces other dangers when it comes to the possibility of overheating and electrical fires. Not having a real flame means that electrical fireplaces don’t need a chimney or any installation, but there are a huge number of downsides that come along with the product.

Alcohol gel fireplaces are the newest technology to hit the fireplace market. They utilize recyclable canisters contain an isopropyl fuel source making them an extremely environmentally friendly option. The aesthetic experience of a luxury alcohol ventless fireplace is lightyears ahead of a gas fireplace. The canister provides a real crackling and popping flame providing an excellent ambient and auditory experience. Much like a fire dims to embers once the wood burns down, an alcohol gel fireplace creates a similar effect. The interior and exterior materials of our fireplaces are highly customizable to match the design motif of any space. In addition, the interior layout of the faux wood elements can also be laid out and relocated to your desired taste. Installation requires no gas line, no vents, and no chimneys or flues. Ventless alcohol fireplaces are by far the safest option with the least amount of possibility of mechanical failure. Because the cartridges burn for a set amount of time and then go out on their own there’s no concern for wasted gas or electricity. This feature also further increases the safety factor meaning you can set it and forget it. The 2+ hour run time per cartridge is the perfect length of time to enjoy a movie or football game while enjoying the ambiance of your luxury hearth. They can be placed underneath a television set or mantle - with proper materials and distances maintained - without the worry of warping or other heat-related dangers. Since they give off a low source of ambient heat you can get right up to the fireplace without feeling overheated or uncomfortable. As most modern homes feature economical heating sources HeartCabinet ventless fireplaces aren’t meant to be a source of heat but a source of comfort for the customer.

Home Benefits of Vent-Free Fireplaces

Considering a vent-free fireplace in your home? Gorgeous, premium quality, and easy to install, these types of fireplaces offer a number of benefits that will add value and warmth to you and your home. Find our top reasons for going vent-free below!

Room by JMW Interiors

Room by JMW Interiors

1) Efficiency

Aside from never having to clean your chimney again, one of the best advantages of ventless fireplaces is that they're 99% efficient, compared with the 70-85% efficiency of vented models. Because they don't require a vent or flue, all of the heat your vent-free fireplace generates will stay inside, instead of escaping out a chimney or duct.

2) Ease of Installation

One of the major disadvantages of traditional fireplaces is the need to cut into your home's walls or roof to create a vent. Even with gas fireplaces, you are limited on where you can install depending on the gas line location. If you choose to go ventless, you'll save both time and money on installation. And, if you go for a gel alcohol fireplace, you can place it anywhere in your home!

3) No Wood Necessary

When you have a ventless fireplace, you'll never have to worry about keeping wood stacks in your home. Wood costs can add up, and the labor needed to collect the wood and keep it burning isn't always convenient. With a vent-free fireplace, there's no wood and no work - just warmth, whenever you need it.

4) No-Fuss Fire Starting

Another big benefit of vent-free fireplaces is their smooth ease of use. Because a ventless fireplace will either run on electricity or alcohol there's no need to crumple newspapers and kindling into a bundle first. All you need is a long-lighter to get it going immediately. There won't be any smoke or messy cleanup - just sit back and enjoy.

5) Warmth & Ambiance

If you're in a cold climate and a vented fireplace simply isn't an option, skip the generator and consider installing a vent-free fireplace. It will add instant ambiance to your home, and create that warm and welcoming atmosphere that only a fire can. Whether you're hosting a party or a small family gathering, or simply taking some time to reflect and meditate, there's nothing quite like sitting by a beautiful fireplace.

Everyone loves a warm fire on a cold night and what better way to enjoy the magical ambiance of a traditional fireplace without all the hassle and expense? Ventless fireplaces come in many different models to suit any home, giving homeowners significant energy savings, efficiency, and complete convenience.

Many trade professionals express concerns about installing a fireplace given huge construction costs, approvals, loss of square footage to bulky flues, safety and customization needs and aesthetic concerns

Lasky explained how HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces require no exterior connections, reducing the cost of construction labor and how fast and safe the self-contained luxury system is to use. The entire installation takes only a few minutes. HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces can be slid into an existing space or stand alone on a secured base. They can be installed on the first floor of a thirty story building without having to have a cluster of flies and pipes core through a building.

HearthCabinet's Ventless Fireplaces were created over a decade ago by a team of fireplace designers led by Lasky, a highly experienced architect and designer, and Michael Weinberger, an inventor and product liability attorney. They were seeking an innovative and beautiful fireplace solution for use in homes and buildings that could not accommodate the installation requirements of conventional burdensome wood or gas fireplaces. The result was a beautiful ventless fireplace with the brilliance of a real flame. Michael Weinberger was able to create a fuel source that would produce a full, vibrant flame through patented alcohol based Safety Gel Cartridges™ and a patented locked Safety Screen system.

Lasky and his team have continued to innovate over the past 10 years to create a full line of HearthCabinets® that are built one by one in the US to exacting standards and are customizable both inside and out. They are used in the best homes, apartment’s condos, restaurants and hospitality venues. The design community has come to expect great designs and great and personal custom service from the HearthCabinet® team.  Since its start, HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces has been recognized as the finest and safest luxury fireplace on the market.

Reflectel Mirror-TVs & HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces: Match Made In Design Heaven

HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces’ ICFF 2019 Booth

HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces’ ICFF 2019 Booth

At ICFF 2019 we had the pleasure of displaying Reflectel Mirror Televisions in our booth! This pairing was a match made in design heaven because so often a television is placed above the fireplace.

Coincidentally, our companies have a lot in common!

1.       We are both made in New York!

Reflectel Mirror-TVs are designed and crafted in their Tribeca production facility and HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces are made in Brooklyn and inspected and delivered from our offices in Chelsea. Reflectel Mirror-TVs and HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces are made with the highest quality materials and inspected for perfection before installation.

2. Both of our products are completely customizable.

Frame, size and tint are completely customizable at Reflectel. The homeowner just provides the television, and Reflectel designs the custom frame and mirrored overlay,

“Unlike other companies, we combine the brightest, thinnest televisions on the market with the most transparent mirror, delivering uncompromising picture clarity,” said Elizabeth Goldfeder President of Reflectel Mirror-TVs.

HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces can be customized by size, finish, decorative interior and sometimes shape. With our brands, you can get the product of your dreams!

3. We work with the most respected designers and architects, as well as discerning end-users.

Both our brands have the highest standards of customer service and value our relationships with our clients. Our high quality service has granted both of our companies continuous opportunities to work with the crème de la crème of designers and architects.

4. Each of our products can be installed virtually anywhere.

Because the television converts back into a mirror when turned off, Reflectel Mirror-TVs can enhance any room in a home, office or hotel. HearthCabinet® Ventless Fireplaces can be installed virtually anywhere because they require no exterior connections, no gas, no chimney, no electricity, just 4 screws to secure the base.

5. The design results are BEAUTIFUL.

Why HearthCabinet® and the Earth love Eugene Stoltzfus’ Cork Furniture

Today we celebrate our great planet by spotlighting one of our favorite eco-friendly furniture brands, Eugene Stoltzfus. Architect, Eugene Stoltzfus, founded his architectural and furniture design company in 2006. Their team is dedicated to incorporating natural elements into their building projects and object design. Their cork seating and table pieces are framed with steel in a modern fashion and designed for indoor and outdoor use.

“The bark of the Quercus Suber has been used for thousands of years for use as stoppers for wine,” says Robert Northington, Director of Sales at Eugene Stoltzfus. “After the corks are removed the waste bark is ground up and compressed. This post production waste is what cork flooring, wallboard and our furniture is made from. Cork trees that are harvested will store more than 5 times the carbon than non-harvested cork trees do.”

Cork is a fabulous option for furniture because of its impermeability and elasticity. It’s a sustainable raw material with fatty cellular components that make it water resistant. If stained, you can simply and gently sand the blemish away.

Cork is mainly harvested from the cork oak forests of Southern Europe and North Africa, most specifically Portugal. Cork trees are harvested every 9 years and because cork comes from its outer bark, it can be removed without damaging or cutting down the tree.

HearthCabinet® + Cliff Young Ltd. 2019 Collaboration

This spring we’ve warmed things up by developing new designs with award-winning furniture company, Cliff Young Ltd. Our collaboration showcases two cutting-edge contemporary-classic installations: one that features mixed metal materials inspired by images of modern skyscrapers and the play of reflected light and the other influenced by contemporary floating cabinetry. We’ve created this furniture line to reflect timeless luxury and effortless elegance. The audience these pieces attracted at both the Architectural Digest Design Show and High Point Spring Market confirmed that this collaboration was a success.

"You have to see them embedded in the furniture to understand how they revolutionize the idea of what a fireplace can look and feel like. A beautiful self-contained fire with no smoke and no chimney either!" says Cliff Young's owner, Leslie Azzolina Zarra. "We think the collaboration is the perfect marriage of sophisticated simplicity with the warmth of home."

To this day their business maintains strong family values and exercises meticulous attention to detail while creating new signature pieces and when reproducing their classic products.

Cocobolo Design Feat. HearthCabinet® Luxury Ventless Fireplaces @ ADDS 2019

At this year’s Architectural Digest Design Show, Cocobolo Design featured one of our HearthCabinet® Luxury Ventless Fireplaces in their booth! Principal, Benjamin Wiener, designed an extraordinary triangular ceramic surround in a beautiful, vibrant blue. This structure complemented the other hand-crafted pieces displayed in the booth in both color and composition. All of the items shown at the Arch Digest Design Show were a part of Cocobolo’s Arbiter Collection which included wall decos, sculptures and unique versions of household elements like tables, lamps and stools.

Cocobolo has a team of talented artists and sculptors and does many collaborations in the interior design world. Their ability to match any project’s aesthetic is the reason why we love to work with them! Like our HearthCabinet® Luxury Ventless Fireplaces, Cocobolo works with a wide range of clients in the design community from residential to commercial to hospitality.

We featured Cocobolo’s work shown in our Arch Digest Design Show 2017 booth designed by Wesley Moon. This piece is now on display in our NYC showroom.
